It's quick to make and easy to remember and forgiving. More sour cream makes it creamier, less is stiffer. I've topped it with nothing, sour cream, pie filling, fresh fruit, even lemon Jello. Ingredients:
1 store-bought graham cracker crust |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/4-1/2 cup sugar |
1/2-1 cup sour cream |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
more sour cream, for topping (optional) |
Directions:
1. Cream together cream cheese and sugar. 2. Mix in sour cream and then eggs and vanilla until well blended. 3. Pour into pie crust. 4. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until 2-inch circle in middle jiggles when shook. 5. (optional) Spread with sour cream. 6. Cool. 7. Top with fresh fruit, or canned pie filling, or just eat. |
