Great for the Holidays! My husband begs me to make it all the time. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
2 cups mild salsa |
2 cups sour cream |
8 ounces velveeta cheese |
Directions:
1. Set oven to broil. 2. Brown ground beef, drain. 3. In a 9x9 baking pan, spread ground beef evenly in the bottom. 4. Spoon in salsa, making sure to cover all of ground beef. 5. Add sour cream smoothing out over salsa (it may mix with salsa giving a pinkish hue, but this is ok). 6. Slice velveeta in thin squares and layer over the top of salsa in rows. 7. Place in oven to broil until cheese melts. Make sure you watch the top so that the cheese doesn't burn. 8. ( You can also put it in on 350, but it takes much longer). 9. Enjoy with Tostitos Scoops! |
