Though high in fat, this is SO satisfying! Ingredients:
3 cups grated cheese |
4 slices bread |
2 c. milk |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/2 tsp. worcestershire or soy sauce |
1/2 tsp. thyme |
1/2 tsp. dry mustard |
1 pepper |
Directions:
1. Layer cheese and bread in an oiled baking dish, starting with bread. 2. Pour over it the milk or milk mixture. 3. Beat, with the eggs, the salt and remaining ingredients and pour over bread mixture. 4. Let stand for 30 minutes. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour in a pan of hot water. |
