Easy Cheese and Pesto Pizza With Fresh Tomatoes |

This is probably my favorite vegetarian pizza. Ingredients:
1 large cheese pizza |
1/2 cup pesto sauce |
3 -5 tomatoes, sliced |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Using a Tablespoon or other large spoon, drop the pesto sauce in blobs on the cheese pizza (use more or less pesto sauce as desired). 2. Bake the cheese pizza in the oven per pizza recipe or package instructions. 3. Remove baked pizza and top with fresh ripe tomato slices. 4. Sprinkle the tomatoes with the grated Parmesan cheese (or salt and pepper). The tomatoes taste better with a bit of saltiness. 5. Serve at once. |
