This is a very fast and easy recipe for buttermilk pie- a no crust, custard pie. Great cold and is nice and caramelized when microwaved. So easy a child could make it. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 cup buttermilk |
1/2 cup bisquick |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 eggs |
Directions:
1. Beat all ingredients together until well blended. 2. Pour into 9 inch round glass dish or similar container for baking. 3. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. A knife in the center should come out clean. Cool for at least 15 minutes. |
