This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Morgan Estate in Austin, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef |
2 cans kidney beans |
2 cans tomatoes |
1/4 chili seasoning mix |
seasoning mix |
1 tablespoons all purpose flour |
2 tablespoons instant minced onion |
1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon seasoned salt |
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper crushed |
1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in a medium skillet over medium high heat then drain well and add beans, tomatoes and chili seasoning mix. 2. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally. 3. To make seasoning mix combine all ingredients in a small bowl. |
