I saw this recipe on a local channel a while back and it happens to be a pretty good sauce. It's not the best, but it will definately get you by in a pinch. I know everyone has their favorites, but I highly recommend using Red Hot brand hot sauce. Don't quote me on the serving size. It makes a little over 2 cups and i like a lot of sauce on mine. Ingredients:
1/2 cup salted butter |
1 cup of red hot brand hot sauce |
1 cup ketchup (don't use the cheap stuff!) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Whisk in hot sauce and ketchup. Cook sauce until warm. The cooler the sauce is, the thicker it is and it adheres to the wings better. Enjoy. |
