Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup milk |
1 (16-ounce) package frozen blackberries, thawed |
vanilla ice cream (optional) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a 2-quart casserole. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a small mixing bowl; mix well. Pour mixture over melted butter; do not stir. Spoon blackberries over batter; do not stir. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cobbler may be served hot or cold with ice cream, if desired. |
