Tasty Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed & drained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth |
1 cup chunky salsa (i used mild) |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
4 tablespoons fat free sour cream |
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped |
shredded cheese (optional) |
Directions:
1. In electric blender or food processor,combine beans,broth,salsa, cumin & garlic powder. 2. Blend until fairly smooth. 3. Heat mixture in a sauce pan over med heat until heated through. 4. Ladel into 4 bowls. 5. Top each bowl with 1/2 Tbs green onion & 1 Tbs sour cream, Add cheese if desired. |
