This recipe comes from the Kraft Food and Family magazine. I wanted to keep this recipe on hand when fresh strawberries were in season. The Kool-Aid Cherry Flavor Single Drink Mix is a nice touch to this smoothie. It taste alot more like a cherry smoothie than strawberry to me. I also needed to add alittle water and ice to the blender to make it like a slushy. This makes 1 serving Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) low-fat strawberry yogurt |
1 (1/3 ounce) cherry kool-aid, cherry flavor single drink mix packet |
6 fresh strawberries, sliced |
1 cup ice cube (or more to taste) |
1/3 cup water (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a tall blender add all ingredients and blend until smooth. |
