Quick & easy beef stroganoff recipe that's been in my family for 30 years. It's kid-friendly and takes about 30 minutes to complete. Ingredients:
cooked egg noodles |
1 lb hamburger |
1/4 cup diced onion |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup |
1/2 cup water (i use the soup can) |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Brown the hamburger meat and chopped onions. 2. Drain the cooked hamburger. 3. Add both cans of soup and 1/2 cup of water. 4. Add salt, pepper, and a shake of garlic powder to taste. 5. Bring the sauce to a bubble, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally. 6. Turn off the heat and stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream. We usually just put a big dollop into the sauce, adding more to our taste. 7. Spoon the sauce over cooked egg noddles. Enjoy! |
