Very simple way to prepare an inexpensive cut of meat. Ingredients:
1 beef brisket (score when raw) |
1 can cola |
1 bottle chili sauce |
1 package dry onion soup mix |
Directions:
1. Put brisket fat side up in roasting pan. 2. Mix together cola, chili sauce and soup mix and pour over brisket. 3. bake at 325 for 3-4 hours (30 minutes per pound). 4. After roasting, defat brisket by cutting away with a sharp knife. 5. Slice against the grain. |
