Bake uncovered in 1 1/2-quart casserole at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Ingredients:
4 sices bacon |
2 tablespoons drippings |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 1-pound cans pork and beans in tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
Directions:
1. Cook 4 slices bacon till crisp; drain; reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. 2. Crumble bacon. 3. Cook 1/2 cup chopped onion in drippings till tender; add with bacon to two 1-pound cans pork and beans in tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon prepared mustard; mix well. 4. Bake uncovered in 1 1/2-quart casserole at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. 5. Serves 6. |
