Melt-in-your-mouth recipe from Switzerland. Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup crushed almonds |
1 cup butter, softened |
7 tablespoons white sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Mix all-purpose flour, almonds, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract in a large bowl until well blended. 3. Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. 4. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes. |
