1 cup unsalted butter, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 cups king arthur unbleached all-purpose flour |
confectioners' sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in flour. Press dough into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. 2. Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into nine squares; dust with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 9 cookies. |
