These are the best soft crabs! The bacon is a real surprise. The flavors blend beautifully. You'll never make them any other way. Ingredients:
4 soft shell blue crabs |
4 slices center-cut bacon |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup pancake mix |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Wrap each crab with a slice of bacon, then dip it into the eggs followed by the pancake mix. 2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the bacon-wrapped crab into the skillet, and cook, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, 5 to 7 minutes on each side. |
