Found this in an old hospital cookbook from the 40's. I have never tried this recipe and is it fun to read! Ingredients:
5 boxes confectioners' sugar |
3/4 lb butter |
1/2 pint heavy cream |
1 1/2 cups peanut butter |
2 packages coconut |
1 lb chocolate (for dipping) |
1/4 cup paraffin wax, melted (for dipping) |
Directions:
1. Mix, shape into eggs. 2. Coat w/ chocolatewax mixture and cool. |
