EASTER BLUEBERRY SALAD This recipe comes from my personal collection. This is a very tasty and very refreshing salad that I make every year at Easter. Tried and true and loved by all. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 large package black cherry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 can blueberries
15 ounce can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 package dream whip
Directions:
1. Mix gelatin with boiling water.
2. Drain blueberries and add juice to gelatin then cool.
3. Set aside 3/4 cup gelatin and juice.
4. Add blueberries, pineapple and nuts to gelatin.
5. Refrigerate until well set.
6. Mix cream whip as directed on box.
7. Slowly add the cooled 3/4 cup gelatin and juice to dream whip.
8. Continue beating until lavender in color then top salad.
