This came from a friend many years ago who was from New Jersey. Some of the measurements are approximate, been making it so long I don't measure anything. I normally use a small package of macaroni and usually use 3/4 of the package. I normally taste as I go and you may need more or less garlic salt, sometimes I add a few shakes of onion powder. The chopped canned ripe olives can be too small so you may want to chop your own. Ingredients:
5 cups cooked elbow macaroni |
1/2-3/4 cup mayonnaise |
4 ounces chopped ripe olives |
6 green onions, chopped use most of green part |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and chill for 30 minutes and serve. |
