A really good, frozen margarita. Three ingredients (not counting garnish), three steps (dump, blend; dump, blend; garnish). Ingredients:
3 teaspoons kosher salt |
4 teaspoons sugar |
1 lime |
1 (12 ounce) container limeade, frozen |
6 ounces tequila (1/2 a limeade container) |
crushed ice (2 limeade containers of) |
Directions:
1. Grate the rind from the lime. Slice the lime into wedges. Set aside. 2. Combine salt, sugar and lime rind and put on saucer. 3. Wet rims of glasses and dip in the sugar, salt and lime rind mixture. Set aside. 4. Dump the frozen limeade into a blender; add the tequila. Pulse to combine. 5. Add a limeade container of crushed ice. Blend until smooth. 6. Add the 2nd container of crushed ice. Blend until smooth. 7. Pour into glasses, add a lime wedge to each glass. |
