Easiest Ever Lemon Squares |

This recipe comes from a Dr. Oetker package. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/3 cup raspberry jam |
2 eggs |
1 (212 g) package lemon pie filling mix |
1/2 cup ground almonds |
1/4 cup sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Combine flour and sugar, then butter until the mixture clumps together. 2. Press firmly into 8 square pan. 3. Bake at 350 degrees 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. 4. Remove from oven and spread with jam. 5. Beat eggs until light and creamy. 6. Beat in pie filling powder and ground almonds. 7. Pour over jam layer. 8. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. 9. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 or until set and firm to touch. 10. Cool and cut. 11. For Lemon Coconut squares sub 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut for the ground almonds and sliced almonds. |
