Easiest Ever Butter Pecan Cookies |

My kid calls these her stupid cookies because even she can make them. They deserve a better name than that because they taste like shortbread. Easy does not equal stupid. Ingredients:
3/4 cup of softened butter |
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant butterscotch pudding mix |
1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour |
1/2 cup of chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and pudding mix.
2. Gradually beat in flour.
3. Fold in pecans.
4. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls.
5. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets; flatten to 1/2 inch thick with a greased glass.
6. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes until lightly golden brown.
7. Remove and cool on wire racks.
