cake made with the icing already in it, leaving a great moist brownie like effect. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and your done. I am always asked to bring this for the kids, along with my broccoli cornbread for the adults. Ingredients:
use one cake mix of your choice. the cheaper the cake mix the better for some reason. |
one can of prepared icing to enhance the cake flavor. like, if it is chocolate, use a chocolate or fudge icing. |
so that said, one cake mix, your choice |
one can icing, your choice. |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven as directed on the cake mix. 2. Mix cake as directed on box. 3. Fold in the icing into the cake mix. Pour batter into a rectangular greased pan, 4. Bake as directed on the box. 5. Cake will be very moist. After the cake cools, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar as a topping. Cut into serving sizes. 6. It doesn't take much expertise, but you won't have any leftovers. 7. I used Spice cake with creamed cheese frosting, and Carrot cake the same way. But the kids prefer the chocolate cake with the fudge chocolate icing. 8. Lord, what would I do without spell check. |
