My homage to Earth Day. A super simple, kid friendly dessert that they will love. Ok...I probably had more of these than anyone else...nasty looking, but a yummy treat with slimy surprises inside. Perfect for a classroom. Ingredients:
one package of chocolate pudding |
8 to 10 chocolate cookies (any kind) |
1 package of gummi worms |
Directions:
1. Make the pudding as directed and allow it to cool down 2. Crush the chocolate cookies to make about 2 cups of crumbs and chunks 3. Layer the bottom of a cup/glass/plastic pot with crumbs 4. Drop in a gummi worm 5. Layer pudding on top of that 6. Drop in a worm 7. Add final layer of crumbs 8. Add a few more worms for luck. Or should that be for yuck? 9. Now for the optional part: 10. Teach your children about why worms are good for the earth and how they fit into the cycle of life 11. Explain that worms don't like concrete 12. Enjoy!!! |
