This jumbled up quick version of German Chocolate Cake is so easy you'll be able to whip this up in no time and have your guests begging for seconds. This too came from a book of award winning recipes from across the US. Ingredients:
1c. coconut |
1c. chopped pecans |
1 box chocolate cake mix |
1 stick of butter |
1 8oz. pkg. sofened cream cheese |
2c. powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Grease and flour 13x9in. pan
2. Put coconut and pecans in bottom of pan evenly
3. Prepare cake mix as instructed on box
4. Spread over coconut and pecans
5. Mix butter, powdered sugar and cream cheese
6. Spoon cheese mixture in dollops over cake
7. Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 50 min.
8. Serve with whipped cream
