I found this in a magazine years ago; my family enjoyed it so much;it has Zing! This recipe would be great served for lunch with a crusty bread and some friends.This is the type of salad that you can add or remove whatever your prefer. Add 1/2 cup of olives for another taste sensation.
Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves, crushed
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
crushed pepper
1/3 cup olive oil
salt
1 (15 ounce) can artichokes, cut in 1/2
1/2 spanish onion, sliced
4 green onions, chopped
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1/2 red pepper, sliced
1 (6 ounce) can whole mushrooms
1/2 cup salami, sliced
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
1 romaine lettuce
1 tomato, cut in chunks
Directions:
1. Whis together dressing ingredients; don't be shy with the pepper.
2. Add vegetables.
3. Marinate for 4-6 hours.
4. Add salami and cheese.
5. Toss together with chopped Romaine lettuce.
6. Top with tomatoes,.
7. Serve and watch the smiles.
8. Cooking time is marinating time.
