Dynies Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies |

This puts a spin on the blonde brownie with a peanut butter taste swirled with a creamy rich chocolate...Mmm! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup packed light brown sugar |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chocolate syrup |
8oz. sour cream |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Blend chocolate syrup, sour cream and egg to make choc. syrup mixture, set aside. 2. Blend butter and peanut butter in large mixer bowl. 3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat well. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 5. Blend in vanilla. 6. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to peanut butter mixture. 7. Spread half the batter in greased 13x9-inch baking pan. 8. Spoon chocolate syrup mixture over top. 9. Dollop by teaspoonfuls the remaining batter over the top of the chocolate layer. 10. Swirl with spatula or knife for marbled effect. 11. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned. |
