these taste best when warm. serve with a cup of tea and ur ready to go!! Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups cake flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup raisins |
1 egg, beaten |
3/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 pinch ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. 2. Beat butter and sudar until creamy. 3. Gradually add the flour mixture. 4. Set aside 3/4 cup of the mixture. 5. To remaining mixture, add raisins, edd and milk. 6. Blend well. 7. Spread into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan. 8. Sprinkle reserved mixture overtop. 9. Sprinkle with cinamon and sugar. 10. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
