Got this recipe from a lady at church. Ingredients:
4 slices bacon |
4 (15 ounce) cans green beans |
1/2 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup prepared mustard |
1 onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon and drain. saute onion in bacon fat, drain most of fat, add vinegar sugar and mustard to onion. Pour over beans. Simmer, stirring occassionally 1 1/2 hours. Add broken up bacon in last 1/2 hour. |
