We love this at our house. Definitely comfort food. Ingredients:
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 unbaked pie shell |
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon; add apples and toss to coat. 2. Place in unbaked pie crust. 3. Mix flour, sugars and margarine until crumbly. 4. Sprinkle on top of pie. 5. Bake at 400* for 15 minutes. 6. Reduce heat to 350* and bake another 30-40 minutes. |
