This reminds me alot of an apple crisp. I love this recipe. Ingredients:
5 -6 apples, peeled and sliced |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons flour (or more) |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/3 cup raisins |
1 unbaked pie shell |
1/3 cup margarine |
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400. 2. Toss apples with lemon juice. 3. Blend the other filling ingredients. 4. Add apples and raisins. 5. Pour into unbaked pie shell. 6. TOPPING:. 7. Melt margarine. 8. Add oats, cinnamon, and brown sugar. 9. Sprinkle over pie mixture and slightly press down with hands. 10. Bake at 400 for 40-45 minutes or until topping is brown and apples are tender. |
