Low calorie pasta dish. Add chicken or shrimp, if desired Ingredients:
8 oz. whole wheat pasta |
5 tomatoes, roma, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
2 teaspoon garlic, chopped |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
6 cups fresh spinach |
2 teaspoons dried basil |
2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
4 teaspoons feta cheese |
Directions:
1. Boil pasta. Drain and set aside. Saute onion and garlic in oil for 2 minutes. Over a low heat, add all other ingredients except cheese. Stir and let spinach wilt. Turn off heat. Add Pasta into sauce mixture. Serve with feta sprinkled on top. |
