Boiled, meatless dumplings. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups white flour |
1/8 cups cornmeal, whole-grain, yellow |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in mixing bowl. 2. Add water and mix with hands, until dough is formed. 3. Break into about 10 pieces and roll with hands, making any shape desired (usually a puffy orb) 4. Add to boiing water, and boil until they float. 5. Eat. |
