I was hungry for a hearty, warm soup & just started throwing staples together & came up with a tasty little soup! It's quick & easy! Ingredients:
8 cups chicken broth (i used jameson bouillon) |
12 ounces frozen flat dumplings (or frozen noodles) |
3 carrots, cut into 1 inch chunks |
15 ounces mixed vegetables, drained |
1 -2 cup frozen mixed vegetables |
1 -2 cup frozen chopped spinach |
15 ounces light kidney beans, drained & rinsed (white beans could work too) |
poultry seasoning |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring broth to a boil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for at least 35 minutes. Adjust ingredient amounts to your preferences. |
