This is a deliciously different type of dip. Thicker than most. This recipe comes from a cookbook Favorites from Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis.Published around 1986 I think. Add less or more mayonnaise to suit your taste. Ingredients:
1 lb bacon |
16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese |
1 bunch chopped green onion |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon till crisp, Drain. 2. Crumble in large bowl. Add cheese and chopped onions. 3. Mix with mayonnaise until a consisteny to dip. 4. Use Wheat Thins to dip. |
