This is from New Mexico Cook Book, my all time favorite cookbook. I don't get to use it much because my husband doesn't like spicy food - but this had just the right punch for him. The servings are fine for a light meal, but I actually suggest doubling the recipe for 4 people. Duke City is Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the way. Ingredients:
2 cups bite-sized pieces cooked turkey |
1 cup bite-sized pieces green apple |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon sour cream |
1 tablespoon red chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. 2. Chill. |
