Drunken Meatballs (With Crock Pot Instructions) |

You can use any bourbon but I have done well using Southern Comfort. Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup bourbon |
4 dozen meatballs, small, already cooked |
Directions:
1. Combine the first three ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes, until blended. 2. Add meatballs and simmer, covered for about 45 minutes. 3. CROCK POT: For the crock pot, prepare sauce as above. Put meatballs (they can be frozen meatballs) into crock pot, pour sauce over and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours. |
