This is from 8th grade Home Economics Class.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup buttermilk
Directions:
1. Mix flour, salt, baking soda,and baking powder together.
2. Cut in shortening.
3. Add buttermilk.
4. Stir together thoroughly and drop by spoonfuls in greased pan about 1/2 apart.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes 425°F.
