This simple and tasty potato balls, can easily be serve as appetizers, entree or as a party food! Yummy! Ingredients:
800g potatoes (pre-boil) |
300g dried shrimp (pre-washed in warm water) |
5 pips garlic (finely chopped) |
12 shallots (finely chopped) |
3 tbsp olive oil |
oil for frying |
sauce |
4 tbsp worchestershire sauce |
2 tsp honey |
Directions:
1. First boil the potatoes with the skin attached till soft. Set aside. 2. Heat the pan, without oil, fry the dried shrimps till fragance. Set aside. 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. 4. Fry the shallots till brown and then the garlic. Set aside. 5. Now start mashing the potatoes with the skin and add in the shrimps, the fried shallots and garlic. 6. Add in the olive oil and continue to mash it. 7. After mixing, use your hands to make into round balls and get ready to serve! 8. For the sauce: 9. Pour the worchestershire in a bowl and stir in the honey. Done. |
