This is a very flavorful salsa.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 jalapenos
2 -3 cups chopped tomatoes
6 ounces tomato paste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
1/2 cup bell pepper
2 serrano chili peppers
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 lime, juice of
Directions:
1. Remove seeds from peppers and chop.
2. Chop cilantro and tomatoes.
3. Mix this all together and let it sit a little while. You can adjust the amounts of the ingredients to suit your taste. Keep it in the refrigerator. It will keep for several weeks.
