                    Garden lettuce calls for a light and tangy dressing. My grandmother had the perfect dressing and now you do, too. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk  |  
                                                1/4 cup cider vinegar  |  
                                                4 1/2 teaspoons white sugar  |  
                                                1/2 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Whisk the evaporated milk, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved. Chill until ready to use.                              |
