From the Sharp Carousel Micro-Convection Oven Manual and Cookbook. Recipe developed in 700-1050 watt ovens using only the microwave. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs |
1/2 cup red wine |
1 egg, beaten |
2 tablespoons onions, chopped |
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped |
1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup ketchup (optional) |
Directions:
1. Thoroughly blend all ingredients. 2. Press into microwave safe, 9x 5 inch loaf dish. 3. Microwave on HIGH (100%) setting until internal temperature reaches 155° F., 11 to 15 minutes. 4. Let stand 3-5 minutes, covered with aluminum foil. If desired, spread top of meat loaf with 1/4 cup ketchup during last 2 minutes of cooking. |
