Ingredients:
1 cup water |
1 cup vinegar |
2 cups sugar |
4 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon |
12 whole cloves |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons celery seeds |
3 (15-ounce) cans white asparagus spears |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except asparagus, in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; cool slightly. 2. Arrange asparagus in a shallow dish; pour marinade over asparagus. Cover and chill several hours. Drain; discard marinade. |
