Double the flavor and double the chocolate fun! Great with a icy cold glass of milk! So, there is no excuse not to make these, they're easy & great! *smile* Jingle Bells! Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups of flour |
1/2 cup of cocoa powder |
1 teaspoon of baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon of salt |
1 cup of butter, soft |
1 cup of packed brown sugar |
3/4 cup of sugar |
1 teaspoon of vanilla |
2 eggs |
2 cups of chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F. 2. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. 3. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy. 4. Beat in eggs for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. 5. Gradually beat in flour mixture. (Batter will be fairly stiff.) 6. Stir in chocolate chips. 7. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto *ungreased *baking sheets. 8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are puffed but not overcooked. 9. Cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets, then transfer to cooling racks. Makes about 4 dozen. |
