Basic sauce from one of my recipe books. Great with crab. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter (or margarine) |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, melt butter. 2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. 3. Add water and cook over high heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. |
