Breakfast Smoothie with protein, good fatty acid, and fruit. (approximately) 550 calories) Ingredients:
2 teaspoons flax seed oil |
1 small frozen banana, cut up |
1/2 cup frozen fruit (e.g., blueberries strawberries, papaya) |
2 ice cubes (if fruit is not frozen or if you want a lighter taste) |
1 cup milk (soy or rice beverage) |
1 cup greek yogurt |
1 vitamin, capsule (like juice plus complete) |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve immediately after blending while the mixture still has a bubbly milkshake-like consistency. |
