Just another way to use dr. pepper Ingredients:
1 (1 1/2-2 lb) pork tenderloin, cut into 2-inch cubes |
1 medium onion, peeled and sliced |
1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and sliced |
4 slices orange peel (optional) |
1 (12 ounce) can dr. pepper cola, mr. pibb or 1 (12 ounce) can coca-cola |
16 fajita-size flour tortillas |
pico de gallo (or fresh made salsa) |
Directions:
1. Combine pork, onion, jalapeno, orange peel and soda in a crockpot. 2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. 3. Uncover and shred the meat using 2 forks. 4. Serve on flour tortillas and top with pico de gallo, if desired. |
