Not your ordinary bean dip! Serve with chips or crackers. This dip also tastes good over a baked potato. Ingredients:
1 can kidney beans, drained |
3 tablespoons tomato paste |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 tespoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/2 cup dr. pepper |
1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
2-4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine beans, tomato paste, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, Dr. Pepper, chilies and Worcestershire sauce. 2. Heat to a boil. 3. Pour into a blender and add cheese. 4. Blend on high speed until well mixed. 5. Pour into a warmer dish. 6. Sprinkle with bacon crumbles and serve with chips or crackers. |
