Easy and delicious! A pop in the oven main dish. Great with green salad. Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
1 dash cayenne |
1 cup fine breadcrumbs |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons water |
1 1/2 lbs fresh scallops |
4 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 450 F degrees. 2. Mix salt, peppers, crumbs together. 3. Beat together egg and water. 4. Roll scallops in crumbs. 5. Dip scallops in egg wash. 6. Roll scallops in crumbs. 7. Place in greased baking dish. 8. Let set for 30 minutes. 9. Pour melted butter over scallops and bake. |
