My mom's recipe. I ate this often as a kid, and still enjoy it. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 egg |
4 slices bread, broken in pieces |
3/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup catsup |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except catsup in a bowl and shape into a loaf. Put in a baking dish and top with a strip of catsup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
